It began in the Spring of 2002 on the local television station KXOK as "Dr.
Fear's Friday Fright Show" doing live broadcasts. The show would start
at midnight and end at two in the morning showing old horrible films, but
sometimes classics. Due to complications at the station, eventually the show
moved over to the public access station PEGASYS to air on Saturday night on
local channel 11 from 9 PM to 11 PM. The show evolved into pre-filmed and
edited production steering away from live productions and paid homage to it's
sources of inspiration: Count Gregore and Mystery Science Theatre 3000. Years
later, the show has been involved in and inspired such eccentric events as:
cursing rival in football teams that fought Enid's (then) team called the
Crude, the Scare on the Square - Enid's local Halloween event, now a tradition,
and "monster" cook-outs, etc. This August 29th, 2012 marks the tenth
anniversary of the show with hopes of reaching out to a wider audience in
Oklahoma someday like their idol and inspiration Count Gregore.

"Fear, Trinka and Grimly, having only seen the clip you guys sent for the Spring Thing, I was ghoulishly giddy to see all the same unholy goodness that came through in that clip, and then some, on your comp tape. Your show takes me back to my days as a youth watching Dr. Creep here in Dayton. The look is wonderfully classic-horror-host, (My, what a big set you have!) and you guys just plain crack me up! I love the way you deliver the material so straight in the most insane situations. Reminds me of Mel Brooks in a lot of ways. Very subtle, yet very subversive!"
